When are we going to Learn?

We buy all the goods cheaply from China in turn they take that money and produce AK47's and many other Military weapons, then they sell those weapons to Insurgents and Iran. When President Clinton signed the Fair Trade Act opening up purchasing of Goods from China and killing many American businesses did anyone ever question what all those cheap goods would eventually cost us possibly in our own troops lives. Then the fact that they are building their economy off of selling products to us. I like cheap clothes , shoes and other shit, but FUCK when is America going to wake up. Just food for thought.

I'd rather have cheap gas than cheap clothes.

the Chinese economy has grown about 15% a year for the past 7 years and going strong. They are gobbling up all the natural resources including gasoline. The high demand for petroleum products in china is what is pushing the price of gasoline worldwide.

I would not be surprised to see a lot fewer people purchasing "made in china" goods with all the recent issues of poisoned pet foods and information coming out that they do the same with products made for human consumption.
I know that personally I pay a lot more attention to where things are made and tend to steer clear of Chinese goods these days.

Considering the majority of their growth is from foreign markets I would say they do, especially since they executed one of the people responsible for the pet food thing.

job safety then.

China has one of the deadliest mining industries in the world, with barely a week going by without deaths reported at a mine somewhere in the country.

I saw this on TV a few weeks ago, they suffer about 16 mining deaths per day I believe.
