Since the bridge collapse in Minnesota last week alot of attention has been turned towards infrastructure across the country. We (Ohio Dam Safety Engineering Program) have had like half a dozen reporters coming around in the last couple of days and asking all kinds of questions. Last night the local (Columbus, Ohio) news channels all ran stories about Ohio Dam Safety. The guy they interviewed on camera is my boss.

Watch the video, at the end the guy refers to a couple new "inspectors". I am one of those new "inspectors". He came to me later and apologized for not calling us engineers. I got a good laugh out of it. But this is the closest I have came to fame since my picture was on the front page of my college newspaper.
