In a related story, a spokesman for the ninjas commented that this year's ninja parade was the largest they'd ever had. Not only where there 3,000 Modesto citizens on hand to watch the parade, but no fewer than 200 ninjas actually participated.

This man says, that it was a great success. "Ever since that disaster we had back in 1984, no one has been detected since. It seems surreal sometimes when we stroll down that avenue in Modesto and no one seems to actually see us walking. I mean, hey! we are right in front of these jokers, what are they blind!?"
