I'm sure that woman was traumatized by this event, but what does suing the airlines have to do with it? This is between the upset woman and Floobie, not American Airlines.

She is using the same logic that people use when they sue gun manufacturers. And that logic is......... anti-logic.

yes, that is stupid logic.

Guns do not kill people, the idiot pulling the trigger kills people.

the only acceptable gun control I know of is being able to hit what you are aiming at.

Airlines are the new Mcdonalds for suing but instead of spilling hot coffee on your lap it's a scalding load on your hair and cheek.
But really what gets me is people consoling her as this guy hammered away in the seat next to her, why didn't someone do something to help her, if she couldn't get a hold of a steward the least someone else could have done was gone to get one for her.
I'd like to think I would have inflicted the appropriate violence on the guy in her behalf, although if I was on the plane with Floobie we likely would have her sandwiched in pretty good.

I predict the next lawsuit for AA will be the guy who man milked her hair to sue them for not stopping him from doing it.
