Obviously some random Tool, not the sharpest in the shed attempted to post some worthless spam and an admin found it first. 8)
I would assume that the ban hammer dropped shortly afterward.

No, if I had banned them then they wouldn't have been able to see my edit to the post. :)
Although it's likely they just come, make one post, expect to be banned so never return.

They just want to boost their search engine ranking using forums like these.
