This is why I shy away from those folks who send me tells like, "Will join my guild? Puhleeeeezzzzz!" or just shove their guild charter in my face without sending me a tell first. I find ppl like that extremely obnoxious. They go on my ignore list and I mute them on TS.

Not illegal unless they make plans to meet for a sexual encounter. But it is a definite exercise in poor judgment. I'm sure Chris Hanson will attest to that.
