Obama Thanks Himself, Irish PM Repeats Speech in Teleprompter Meltdown

Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen reads word for word a speech that Obama had just read from a teleprompter, while the president apparently thanked himself for the invitation.

WASHINGTON -- Irish Prime Minister Brian Cowen was just a few paragraphs into an address at a St. Patrick's Day celebration at the White House when he realized something sounded way too familiar. Turns out, he was repeating the speech President Barack Obama had just given.

Cowen was set to speak twice at the White House on Tuesday night because there were two different parties going on at the executive mansion. No matter -- he would give the same speech to the two different audiences.

But Cowen was 20 seconds into his second address when it dawned on him that he was giving word for word the speech that Obama had just read from the same teleprompter.

Cowen stopped and looked back at the president to say, "That's your speech."

Obama laughed and returned to the podium to offer what might have been Cowen's remarks. In doing so, President Obama thanked President Obama for inviting everyone over.

I just find this stuff amusing because people played him up as some kind of super human prophet of extra goodness, especially in comparison to Bush, the liberal media was always all over Bush's invented words but hardly a whisper is made about Obama's mistakes who you would think would at least proof read his speeches so he can tell when he is reading the correct material from the teleprompter.
I always thought Bush was just a big fan of Edgar Allen Poe who was also well known for inventing words, I can't really think of any historic figures known for thanking themselves for being such a gracious host that Obama might be emulating.

The Media are all socialists and commies anyway. Whatever Obama says is scripture. Whatever Bush said was lunacy.

I still think Bush was correct when he said his legacy won't be written for years to come. I think once we get some distance from that time period people will realize that he wasn't as bad as the media and far left made him out to be. It became popular and "cool" to hate on him when in fact most people never had a valid reason to say anything. I still get angry when people basically blame him for Hurricane Katrina like he personally made the Hurricane, issued an order to not let blacks or poor people out of the city and then went out to the dikes and dug into them with a shovel so that they would fail. (Also, maybe I am just an asshole but if you live BELOW SEA LEVEL next to the ocean, then I say sucks to be you when your sorry ass drowns)

(Not saying Bush was great, the man made a lot of poor decision with serious consequences, just he wasn't as bad as them made him out to be)

Obama scares me. End of story.

You have every right to be scared!!! Have you noticed that China and Russia are calling for a new world curency, meanwhile Obama is suggesting trillions in stimulus? When the world realizes that our consumer economy is dragging them down and that China's people can afford the goods and items that it produces and that the dollar is worthless for the fact that we are printing money left and right and debasing the dollar then we are fucked. Once China dumps its treasury bonds and gets out of the dollar (which is exactly what China's economist are calling for) then when that happens the dollar will collapse. We will be devestated and financially destroyed... China and Russia will not have fired one shot, one missle or anything. Think about it? This Stimulus packages Obama is suggesting will enslave America in taxes for generations to come.

All this time I never knew Rangerr and Redwarrior were Prophets. They are so right on. Bush's story is not complete and the dollar will fail with the stimulus package Obama is pushing for.

Especially when China has been manipulating the value of their currency to keep it low, the fed knows this but the administration doesn't want to do anything about it because of upcoming trade talks and the fact that we owe so much money to them.
Right now we are lucky that China produces magnitudes of order more than it can consume, we purchase something to the tune of 70% of goods made there so China is very hesitant to intentionally do anything to ruin the US economy.
I know many of us said it from the beginning, in the long run less damage would have been done if we had just let these large companies fail instead of shoveling trillions of dollars into them, they may as well just be dancing around a money bonfire on the white house lawn.
