Hey now, I was an avid hunter and I'm also an animal lover. I'm an active member of Defenders of Wildlife and, when times were better, a frequent supporter of the local humane society.
In fact, most hunters are very much into conservation and I don't think I know a single hunter that does it because they hate deer. :)

Kate,

Safety/protection is no joke. For $30, you are likely to get some 17-year-old kid who just got his license and will drive your daughter in his unarmored Ford Focus. I've seen an IED blow a Ford Focus into thousands of pieces, none larger than a golf ball.

My security package is well worth the $200 per trip. We will pick your daughter up in a random Suburban. Four trucks will pull up, and she will get into a random one every day. This is so the enemy does not know which one to attack. The Suburban she is in will have an armed security detail of men I have worked with in Iraq. We know what we are doing. She will be escorted in our convoy down the highway at a high rate of speed to avoid stopping in "kill zones." All vehicles are equipped with an MIRT which is used to change the traffic lights to green so we will not have to slow down. Your daughter will arrive safely in your arms no later than 20 minutes from when she is extracted from the soccer field.

The best one. This is how Gunther should transport his kids to and from preschool. A team of Enforcers security specialists will extract them from nap time and transport them home in a galaxy.

I love it. Although my children move from our "Forward Operating Base" I like to call FOB "HOME", to the Pre-school via dismounted patrol as the distance is less than 200 meters.

I usually post a two-man scout detail about 50 meters in front of the main body to act as an early warning in case we are walking into an ambush or someone has planted an IED at the edge of the road.

Joey has become quite adept at disarming explosive devices. He attended an intensive 4 week EOD course at Red Stone Arsenal in Maryland this summer. Naturally, the children are protected by "Dragon Skin" body armor. It is by far the most superior high quality ballistics armor money can buy.
