Roger elected to sign the contract with Houston because he lives there. I'm sure winning is better than losing but it isn't necessary for him right now. He is in the twilight of his career and the commute to work is brief.

R Johnson will come around. He is just as deadly with a baseball as Curt Schilling after all they both shared the MVP a few years ago with the Diamondbacks in the World Series.

I've got nothing against this team. they are a solid team and will do well just as they did last year. Cabrera for Rentaria gives them just a fraction of a second faster baserunner and probably a hair better fielder but they lost some hitting power when they gave up Renteria. Naturally all Boston fans love Orlando Cabrera. Apparently they had something to prove to Boston recently when they swept them in their regular season series.

On a recent note, Red Sox just got stomped on by Cubs. Big time. 20 hits hurts. But Ortez had a good game so i'm not unhappy. Cubs are always underdogs, thats why i like rooting for them.
I have nothing againist the Cards minus the fact that beta likes them. So that means they stink.

Yeah, I was kind of sad when they got rid of Rentaria, he was a good player and I liked him.In my mind Cabrera still has to prove himself a bit more to be fully accepted, but he is definitely a good player.And your damn right the Cards had something to prove to Boston! That the World Series was just a fluke.

There's currently speculation now about trading 2nd baseman Robinson Cano and Pitcher Chien Ming-Wang for Clemens, as he has a clause to leave Houston if the team does badly and said that he only would come to NY.

I'd prefer to keep those two. Cano is a future all star in my opinion.
