For the summer it seems as if there will be 3 big titles.
Batman Begins
War of The Worlds
Fantastic Four
Batman doesn't look half bad.
I am really looking forward to War of The Worlds. Anyone else that is looking forward to this one?
And Fantastic Four can't be any worse then The Hulk was.
Thoughts?

Im excited about War of the Worlds because I think the origonal one was cool if they actually would have had some tech. So all they have to do is follow the same story line with the new tech. and it should rock. As far as Fantastic four better than hulk automaticly goes? I DISAGREE....how much better can it be, when one of the main 4's super phrase is...Flame On! I mean C'mon.

Night of the living dead is a classic. And one of the best endings ever.
But have you seen Night of The Living Bread? :P
As far as F4 goes, it can be better since Hulk was horible. Flame on and all.

The only movie I'm looking forward to is War of the Worlds. Nothing else really catches my interest enough. I'll definitly buy F4 though

You know something guys, It isn't just about horror movies ending with the word "DEAD" being unoriginal in Hollywood. The producers and filmakers in that plastic town have lost their edge. How often do we see remakes of movies made 30-60 years ago? It seems to me that they have lost their creativity and are no longer thinking "outside the box". I remember seeing War of the Worlds in the early 1970's as a kid. I was told then that Marlon Brando read the story of "War of the Worlds" during a radio show in the early 1950's on Halloween. At the beginning of the show, he announced that this was only a radio show and not really happening. As time passed and more listeners tuned in, they started belive that it was really happening--that creatures from another planet were landing on earth and attacking our cities. Hollywood got ahold of this story and created the movie I watched 30 years ago. They obviously got tired and assumed that we forgot about the one made 50 years ago and re-released it. Yes of course this one has better special effects and blah, blah, blah. Who cares? when is hollywood going to get their shit together? Now I liked The Longest Yard when it came out in the 70's because I was a Burt Reynolds fan then. Today, I am a Chris Rock and Adam Sandler fan and will eventually see the remake.

I say Enough is enough with the remakes! Make something new!!

Part of War of the Worlds was filmed on my Grandpa's stevedoring business on the Brooklyn waterfront. The guy that operates the gantry crane in the film is actually one of my great-uncles, and he had to shave his beard and wear a wig to look like Tom Cruise. I went over to Ireland with my Dad and some other people that work in that business 4 years ago to look at the factory where they were making those cranes.
