MMO Owners continue to sell out

Planetside has now joined others in in-game advertising.

I don't need to be any more distracted in battle. Sure, maybe if Planetside lacked a monthly fee, I could completely understand ads. But I don't need a full motion ad for a Jeep Grand Cherokee when I'm trying to stay alive. And for $13 a month, you expect better from SOE.

What do you guys think?

P.S. We need to make the links a red or at least a different color. You can't see links unless your mouse pointer goes over it.

As for the advertising yep it sucks but may help keep PS alive. My guess is that its not a big money maker for SOE so anything that can help might be welcomed by the PS regulars.

good call I updated it to a shade of red. I wish I could just change the links in posts but the setting effects all the links.

I like the Ad's it makes everything a little less Disconnected from the real world.

hmmm. if you are still having issues HAC clear your cache and cookies. That usually does the trick.
