Ok, the past few days, Monkey and I have been grabbing these things and, frankly, having a blast.
We may not get many kills. Or be that great. But we certainly have fun.
They are, actually, in my own opinion, the best vehicle to use in a bridge battle. It is also probly the best armor you can roll on the BIs.
You, the cert is cheap (two cert points) and you get the Raider and Delly. It's worth it if you can spare 2 cert points.

Back in the day I used to use those as mobile artillery, they have a nice long range, good for parking on an elevated spot and shelling courtyards, bridges, etc...

I remember doing this with Rhonnin a few times. that was fun. I have the cert and will do this again sometime. The Deathbus has the highest armor value in game for ground vehicles. They can sustain a ton of damage.

Armor Values

Galaxy - 5,000
Sunderer - 3,500
AMS - 3,000
Prowler/Van/Mag - 2,500
Deliverer - 2,000

Weapon Damage Vs. Vehicles

Lightning 75mm - 125
Prowler 100mm - 125
Vanguard 150mm - 250
Magrider Rail Beam - 200
Del 20mm - 20
Sunderer 75mm - 75

these numbers are based on 2003 Game opening statistics. Prima's guide.
If anyone has an updated values list, pleas post them. I have nothing on the Liberator and Raider.

I bet the numbers have been tweaked numerous times since then but the fact is that the bus still has a ton of armor. It is good for tower sieges and bridge battles. The key is to keep it a distance away. Floobie and I used to run them and just have a blast holding a tower down.

Yeah, I don't think galaxies have that much armor anymore. From what I remember you could shoot them down with a couple of mosquitos.

idk about the others, but i do know that each tank has different armor levels.
It goes in this order
Van>Prow>Mag
Armor wise anyway.
But i think that the Sundy still has a LOT of armor.
