So i dl'd PS from the site and I'm gonna try out the ten day free trial. Hopefully I can get the hang of this game quick and jump aboard with the rest of you. So if you see me on don't be a stranger. I could definitely use the help if you don't mind lending it.

BTW what version of the game should I be running. I just dl'd it so one would assume that the one they have on the site is current? But that's just an assumption.

Don't expect to pick it up real quick, and make sure you do the VR training. Also don't get discouraged if you don't get many kills right off the bat. I have been playing for a long time and I still don't get many kills

Hopefully the version on the site is the latest or else get ready for a patch just like WoW. At first it is a little confusing but once we get you past the initial hurdle it is like most FPS in that you just shoot them before they get you.

Towelie if you fire every weapon in VR ranges and drive/fly every vehicle in VR driving range, you should hit BR 4 before you step out into the light of day and become a target for Noobhammer or a lasher. BR4 will allow you to have 7 cert points. I recommend that you get Medium assault as it is a prerequisite for Special Assault, Anti Vehicle and Heavy Assault. Then choose one of those three next so you can go out and kill stuff. Friday night when we run prowler night, you won't be expected to drive if you are BR4

My tip to you is turn off the Kill Death bar and you will probably enjoy the game more.

It's taken me 8 months to be able to get a positive kill:death ratio everyday.

Good for you Monkey. I rarely ever look at it. when i do, I always have more deaths than kills. The other day I was 17/20 which is pretty good for. All but one of those kills were from CE.

I'm just saying turn the thing off, when I first started playing this game, at the end of a 3 hour session I would be 2/45 or something like that... It's very discouraging when your new.

One reason I hate this game. My K/D ratio always sucks.
