I'm technically taking a break from PS, but if the hacking keeps up, I won't be coming back.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure he's using the fodder accounts, and is using them to get his hacks working.

Supposedly SOE released a fix in the latest patch. They wouldn't say what they are doing to fix it, just that they are now recording who is hacking. Which seems to be a good idea so that the hackers have to spend more time figuring out what SOE did. And this guy has an actual paying account that is operational, maybe he isn't hacking with this account but that is besides the point.

And I don't get why Sony doesn't require a credit card for authentication on the fodder accounts (not to be billed, just so hackers can't keep making new accounts)

If they get banned for hacking, that credit card is blacklisted for all SOE games, and what do you know... All their paying accounts get cut off!

But Sony isn't smart enough to do that.

You have no idea how many times people have said exactly that and SOE just isn't listening, though they have hired a new almost dev apparently, see my next thread for that info.

And yes they have to know what account is his, everybody knows his in-game name, Christ everybody knows his actual name.
