Updated Rules for the Outfit Wars Event

These rules were as a result of a DrPaine who hacked a CC during aq match. All kinds of trolling and hate are spewing forth on the forums. people like him need a kick in the nuts for doing stupid crap like that. SOE should just cancel his acount for a month.

DURING PLAY

The Winning Team will be determined by the team that hacks and takes ownership of the other team's base first. Plain and simple.
The Match is scheduled to last 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Orbital Strikes will NOT be permitted. Failure to comply with this rule will result in your team losing the match.
Hacking Towers will NOT be permitted. However, hacking an equipment terminal or Locker in a Neutral Base or Tower will be permitted. Failure to comply with this rule will result in the player that hacked the Tower to be removed from the game.
o If the player is not known or does not admit to the penalty, 5 random people will be removed from the game.
o HOWEVER, If this penalty occurs when either a Generator, CC or Spawn Room are down from the offending team, it is an automatic FORFEIT.

Filling up the NTU's of a Neutral base is not permitted. (It should not be possible but we are putting this rule in here just to be clear)
There will be no Armor or Weapon restrictions. The certifications and implants of each individual will determine your restrictions.
Each team will start in the Spawn room and will not wander around. If there is a need to wander around such as to clean up some CE that was left from a previous match, please have the Outfit/Platoon leader alert the Ref. Assistance in this area, will be permitted.
CE devices will not be permitted to be laid out before the match starts.
If you lose connection to the game or the internet, you will more than likely not be able to spawn back at Old Oshur but rather at the Sanctuary. If this occurs, have your Outfit/Platoon leader alert the Ref to be summoned back to the spawn room.
If your team loses ALL spawn points and the Generator is down (resulting you to spawn in the sanctuary), you CAN be summoned back to your Spawn Room if and when you get your Generator back up and your Spawn Room is still up. If either are down, we will not summon anyone back.
- In order to get summoned back to the Spawn Room, you will need to inform the Outfit Leader in Platoon Chat. The Referee will verify you are in the sanctuary and will summon one person at a time until each person appears in the spawn room. That means that a second person will not get summoned until after the person in front of them is visible in the spawn room. So be patient.
EXTENDED TIME

The Match will last 1 hour and 15 minutes unless there is a Hack placed on a base as time runs out. If a hack has been placed on a base at the end of 1 hour and 15 minutes, we will allow the game to continue until the hack completes. If the team that got their base hacked is able to hack their base back during the extended time, the game play will end in a TIE.
POINTS FOR A WIN and TIE

The Winning Team will receive 3 points for that match. If the match is a TIE, each team receives 1 point. If you lose, no points are awarded.
AT THE END OF MATCH


All players will need to assist the Ref by removing all Combat Engineering Devices left on the battlefield. A great location to remove CE devices first would be within buildings as they are harder to see by the Ref. This is needed to prepare for the next match so please help each other out as they will be doing the same for you.
Referees will have the final ruling on the match and any protests will not be allowed to overturn a match.

Damn, the original set of rules allowed for CE deployment prior to STARTEX. Any Operational information should be placed in private chat. This is a warning for folks who may post game plan stuff here.
