I know this. The GM called a Tie in our platoon chat. We got a recall order. About 40 seconds went by while I was reading Platoon chat. I read that 15 more minutes were added to the game. I know our leader was in sactuary by that time. I disregarded orders and stayed. But I had hardly anybody to help me protect or CC and since our Leader was gone, it was hard to decypher what we were doing. There was lots of confusion going on.

Main point is. GM calls it a tie. We recieve an order to recall. 30 seconds go by, GM calls for 15 more minutes. By that time members of our squad had recalled.

Even if 1 member of the squad recalled it would still be unfair for our side considering that it was the GM's fault, but even more people recalled. I vote rematch just cause that was a TON of fun, and it would be the most fair for both teams.

I was leading up the deffense of our base, once I saw the match was a draw and the recall was given, I gave the order over vent to head over and snag a few easy kills at your guy's base. So we dumped the base Def and either recalled or headed to yall's base. . .after we were either off cont or out of the SOI we then read 15 mins had been added.

I think even if you all did hack before the tie was called. . .the fact a tie WAS CALLED in itself is an unfair advantage, because I know for sure none of those decisions would have been made otherwise.

Next I saw my platoon leader put out the recall order and I accepted it. At that time, both your team and ours had a hack on each other's CCs. Your team entered the CC, killed myself and my partner. It was an easy kill as neither of us resisted knowing the game had ended. Next you obviously resecured your CC assuming the game was continuing. I respawned at sanc and quickly got out of the game because i had to deal with a real life issue. For Vindicators to receive a WIN and Enforcers to receive a tie is not fair like Floobie said, because from my perspective, we had a hack on your base at the end of hte game too. Only from your side it was resecured before anyone knew a problem existed.

I am disappointed by your reaction.

It would not be possible for you to hack our CC while your own was hacked - plain and simple, you would have no link. Holding our CC would have been irrelevant, given that you would have to resecure before you could hack, at which point the game would have officially ended.

in any case, it seems obvious you have been instructed not to repeat the 'blunder' of specifying the order of events, and that we should expect no corroboration from you. I shall not trouble you any longer.

If you have anything further to discuss with us, please feel free to visit the public forum of our own website - though i cannot vouch for the reception you will get.

I gave you the exact order of what happened. We have screen shots. Its clearly a tie. End of story.

You are correct in saying both bases cannot be hacked at the same time and I understand that you are looking for us to help collaborate a recount of the actual events. I think a few people of stated that most likely you had the hack on before the match ended but since we were not the time keepers we are jut giving our best guess. We are not looking to deny your group a win but it is difficult for tE to accept a defeat because of the circumstances. I cannot speak for the rest of the group but personally when I saw the tie called in platoon chat I went afk for a minute or two. Along with that several of my group respawned at your base or recalled.

You did a nice job getting the hack on and may have an ideal position to defend it which we could not overcome anyways. The problem is that in the span of time between the called tie and the 15 minute extension message we (tE) performed actions that would make a challenge to the hack almost impossible. So the actual results will never be know.

An analogy I would use is a football play where the whistle is blow just before a fumble recovery by the other team who runs it back uncontested. After a few seconds later the refs said well we didn’t mean to blow the whistle and awards the other team a touchdown. It would not stand there or should it here.

In my views the GM we had within our platoon was horrible. Aside starting the match the only communication over platoon (at least that I saw) was a 13 minute warning. It was as if the individual was afk most of the match or just didn’t feel like providing important information. In a earlier match the GM was excellent providing regular updates on time remaining. Time remaining is critical in deciding late match strategy.

Again I don’t believe anyone in tE wants to deny you a win but under the circumstances we cannot accept a loss. It was a good and well played match and all of tE ill will is directed at the actions of the GM not your organization. Please do not confuse our actions as being directed at your group and hopefully your understand our position. If you want collaboration on whether the hack was on before the match was “officially” over I would be happy to give it but that still does not change the facts that I mentioned above and tE’s argument would remain the same.

Well there is quite a debate brewing over our match on the PS forums.
