They may have finally done it.

Discuss this famous MMOFPS/RTS game.

There are easier ways to kill a game SOE... Like unplugging the servers.

Hard pressed on my right. My center is yielding. Impossible to maneuver. Situation excellent, I am attacking!

I don't think it's necessarily the price, so much as the idea. They don't really do anything to enhance the game yet they demand money every month so you can play. Now they're demanding more... and they probably still aren't going to make it better.

Yeah raising the price at this stage of the game is kinda shitty...but at least they are making new material for the game that was really needed. I've been waiting on advanced turret upgrades for over a year....this might actually get me to log and start playing 2-3 times a week again.

CapnHowdy, do you own Day of Defeat:Source, or anyone else for that matter? Those of you that have RO can purchase it and download it through Steam. However, I don't know what its selling for now-a-days...anyway, if anyone wants to use my free guest pass for DOD:S, it's good for a download and 3 days of play, no need to purchase the game. Whoever asks first gets it....

Oh, so they are adding new stuff? I hadn't looked, I was just assuming they wouldn't, because they haven't added much in the past.

I dont own DoD, I've played it quite a bit and I can already say that it's not my cup of tea. I doubt that RO would be any better for me, call me stubborn but I just cant like a game unless it's sci-fi. Plus I dont own a credit card so Steam is essentially useless to me other than the few times that I may play CS:S for a few minutes before immediately hating it again. The only non-scifi game that I like is Call of Duty, which reminds me that I need to pick up the expansion pack and the sequel sometime.

I'll still be playing. And I'm sure most of the current players will too :D Most of the people saying they're unsubbing ect. have been in and out for over a year lol. . .And like it's been said before. tE doesn't survive by PS, it survives by these forums.

And as long as we don't charge 15$ to use the forums tE will always be around.
