I am going to set a goal for myself that i cannot obtain.

To be the best Burster user. Thats right, better then ddbq.
I know i can never get this goal, but i wanted to set a high goal for myself.
It may be true that i may never become the second best Burster or even the third best. But that doesn't bother me.
I feel i can become better at AA then what i am now. Even if i am good at it, maybe even great at it now, i want to become better at it. And i feel a can be better at it..
ddbq will always be the best. I, and no one else can ever take that title. But i am going to try.

This could be an attainable goal, HAC. But maybe you have cursed yourself already or set up a self-fulfiling prophesy. How can you commit yourself to this goal if you tell yourself ahead of time that you can't do it?

Henry Ford once said, "If you think you CAN or CAN'T do something, you are right."

Answer these questions:
1. What do you have to do to be the best Burster Operator?
2. How many kills per hour must you attain in order to achieve this goal?
3. Which are the best places to be in to provide the best opportunities to pad your Burster kill count?

Take the answers to those questions and any more that you can think of and establish short term or intermediate goals that are achievable. Example: Operate the Burster for 6 hours on Sturday and achieve 30 kills per hour totaling 180 kills for the day. This might be attainable if you can work at it. In either case, set short term goals that you can attain.

Gunther, it's not so much as that i don't believe in myself as much it is that ddbq's skill is such a high level to obtain.
I am certain i can get myself to the point of being as good as him(I'm not sure if i haven't already then got out of practice), but being better then him will take a lot. He has the respect/hate of every pilot that has flown in the game. ddbq litterally had the mind set to hunt the air, not just let it come to him. In the day of the BFR this won't be easy to achieve for me. He has built that reputation very stroungly and it will not be easy to get to it.
Over the coruse of the summer i hope to obtain this same respect. It will not be easy. In one way, i have it harder then ddbq. I have to compete with BFRs during the time that i get respect when he didn't. That doesn't take anything away from him, it just makes it harder on me.
I do believe i can do it, but it is a long ways away and by no means will be easy.
