I like BF2 a lot aside for the fact that even with my new 6800 GT I
still don't see the peformance I want. I guess its just that they are
different types of games. The pace in BF2 is fast and lends itself to
solo play. You can join squads but battlefield changes so fast that many
times it has already changed before the SL updates the objectives. With
so many servers its hard to get everyone on the same one and then on the
same side. If we start running clan vs. clan wars this would change as
teamwork is key to win. But for right now I group BF2 with CoD as a
kill count FPS which is not a bad thing.
With PS you have more teamwork despite SOE's lack of supporting tools. I
love FPS and working as a group and really PS is still the only game
going that provides both.
I have renewed for a month and will give it a try again. I am pretty
sure that I screwed up my certs the last time I played so that will be
fun to fix. So I will see you on the battlefield after I reinstall tonight and download a huge patch...
