Well I'm back and thankfully my certs were not as bad as I had thought. There is enough new stuff that I feel a like a noob. I had fun defending a few bases and think that I have about 90% of my settings back the way I like them. Pretty much lag free and 50+ fps made it more enjoyable than the last time I renewed. Not sure where to put my certs so I will try a heavy vehicle config. I noticed during my base defense that not many were using HA. Did they nerf the MCG or does it just not worth the points?

All in all I had fun and now look to run with some tE squads.

A lot of people use the cycler now over the MCG.It's almost like a longer ranged, more accurate MCG with a smaller clip.They didn't really do anything to it but people are getting tired of being slaughtered inside with the MCG by the other empires HA when that's what HA is for.Attacking a fortified position.Many use the cycler and/or sweeper.Both are good but the sweeper doesn't have a large enough clip.So, yeah it isn't really worth the points when you can do almost the samething with the cycler.

inside you'd do best to use the sweeper.

and I prefer the chain gun over the cycler in doors as well.

I, for a long time loved the MCG.
That was until about 2-3 weeks ago when i rediscovered the Cycler.
It is basicly what beta said for me.

i used the Thumper for a while. Liked it, but ultimatly decided that is was affecting my ability to aim.
