Who is ready for some football?

No smelly socks or jocks here just some good ranting about your favorite team.

Watch out Iz looks like UofM has worry about teams like the fighting Irish.

What can I say, I can't abandon my team even if they don't win all the time. If I did that, I wouldn't be TR either.

I've been a Colts fan for my entire life. My dad used to be real big on sports and it rubbed off on me.
I'm telling you, just watch, you'll see. The Colts will be better this year in all areas. They were already second in the league for sacks last year and your adding Corey Simon. That'll draw guys off of Freeney, who is already a standard double team being the NFL sack leader. And if they leave guys on Freeney, then Simon will get through. If you get Simon, Bracket will break in. The Colts defense is very underated. Not to mention that they have something to prove with a chip on their shoulder. For the offense, their might be some concern. Stockley got hurt in preseason. This could have a large effect on the Colts, but he'll still be there and still give them 3 of the best WR in the game.
Don't expect Payton to break 50 this year. He won't have that great a year this time. I mean, 42 TDs in one season will be such a drop off...
And again, whats with all this talk about it being Payton with something to prove? It's the Colts as a team that have to prove themselves. Not one player.

Now, the Jets had a poor showing their first game out. But, it not terribly much to worry about. The Jets will still be in the playoofs this year and make it very hard on the Pats. That D that the Jets have will win them games.
Other side of that game is Kanas City. This team is a lot like the Colts in the fact they can score on anyone. They weren't the same last year after they lost at home to the Colts, but that just gives them more to prove this year. They will be contenders for a playoff spot.

Story of the day so far. The Saints. These guys have had the worst past few weeks then anyone. They come in as the underdogs againist the Panthers and won. To go through so much that is so much bigger then any football game, and win, is big.

Gunther, wake up. 8)
You and i both know their is nothing more boring then the same team winning each year the same way. It's time for the Pats to step aside and let another team in.
And they will step aside this year.

You know why?
Because the pats will win again this year.

They haven't done anything since Super Bowl I.
