I think both sides got what they wanted. Culpepper was not happy in Minnesota, and an unhappy player always leads to trouble (especially at QB). They really couldn't get a very fair market value for him, as he had a dismal season and then got hurt. If they were smart they would have dealt Johnson and Culpepper and signed Brees out from under the Saints, but whatever.

btw this happened about a month ago.
