Tom Brady

Tom Brady

I've been curious for quite some time if Matt Cassel can duplicate Tom Brady's performance under pressure. I guess now we will see. I knew Brady was injured during Training this summer and the reason he was not playing was due to that injury. I guess he will be out for a bit now. Who has him in Fantasy Football? Naked Gnomes, Draconis.

The post game show was saying it's likely he'll be done for the season.
This is how Brady got his shot to shine.

That game worked out perfectly for me. . . Cheifs lost (1 step at a time to getting Herm Edwards fired) and Tom Brady went out for a while. (1 step at a time to throwing off their chmistry for the playoffs)

Who would have thought it possible? :P

I'm sorry Droxor if you believe that Tom Brady is the Key Link to their success. I would imagine that it has more to that grumpy old man on the sidelines than the flashy quarterback. There is more than one player on a football team.

Funny thing about that is. I have the Bills Kicker on the bench. He scored more fantasy football points than the SD Kicker who I left on the field. Not enough to win, but it would have been a contribution.

My dilemma in FF is should I play Eli Manning or Brett Favre? Eli gave me 12 points and Brett made 13 on the bench. Ive been saying Brett needs to retire for several years now. The Old Fart just won't quit. Often times going to a new team reinvigorates a person and they do great things. Eli on the other hand is no Peyton, but NYG have a strong Offense to support him. I could see both performing along similar lines.

Yes local news says the same thing. Matt Cassel fortunately has a decent team to work with, but he is no Tom Brady. The one aspect that Brady has the Cassel does not is "Intelligence". He can think quick in the pocket and react accordingly. If one is not blessed with that ability hopefully it can be learned through experience. Although Drew Bledsoe never learned that lesson. :/
