CashX,Coopman16,Grim, I finally received my replacement today so far it is running with out a problem it's manufacture date is 11/15/05 so I have a feeling I'll be back here sometime soon now that I have the console back with nothing in the box about a little token of putting me thru *** I am on hold right now for getting some compensation TO EVERYONE ELSE IF THEY TELL YOU 2-3 DAYS AND IT'S BEEN A WEEK DON'T TAKE IT LIGHTLY FILE A COMPLAINT ONLINE WITH THE BBB IT WILL GET YOU RESULTS!!!! E-mail the consumer reporters on all yor local TV stations tell them your story THEY ARE PULLING YOUR CHAIN GO BACK THRU ALL THESE POST VERY FEW PEOPLE HAVE HAD GOOD SERVICE My GUT FEELING IS MOST OF THOSE POST ARE FROM MS'S ON PEOPLE I will post how I did on getting some compensation for the hours I spent on hold GOOD LUCK EVERYONE I'll be reading how your progress is going

Well M$ finnaly sent me a brand new 360. About 4 days after I recive it I get a response to my BBB complaint (convenient timing eh?) saying that my xbox 360 is currenty being repaired and I will recive it soon. Eather they guy (he had a indian name) had no idea what he was talking about or M$'s records are really screwed up...in a good way. For my last repair thye sent me 3 xbox coffins. I used the first one and Ill hang onto the second for the inevitable. Still contemplaiting filling the third with fruitcake and sending it back since its on M$'s tab.

I was also promised a free game but it seems that the BBB complaint supervisor has dropped my case. Oh well, sucks for M$ when I dont close my BBB ticket untill I get what was promised.

Seems like everyone who filed complaints is recieving new systems...thank god. Xbox 360 arrives in McAllen TX Tomorrow.

I baught the first Xbox and it stopped working 4 days after I got it. And they "fixed" it twice!

My first Xbox literally set on fire... But that was my fault, not the xboxes... I left the powercord in it when I moved it, and it caused the place where plugs in to get pulled out of place, and it sparked, and started overheating... And then smoke came out of it

Got a new one a few days later and haven't had a problem with it yet. (first one lasted a year, second one lasted about... 4? :-\ It's still working at any rate, plus it's firetruck red and is quite sexy)
