A part of the Patriot Act

Soon it will be time to move to a some type of nix firewall, unix or Linux.
It's not about hiding anything I have nothing to hide, its all about my sovereignty and my privacy. The government has a backdoor to the ISP now it needs a backdoor to my machine this isn't right.

Fortunately I long ago dropped Mcaffee.
This is very disturbing though, I'll have to move my collection of midget, donkey, hampster porn to some kind of secure alien server buried in my basement.

You honestly think democrats would be different? They would be worse if anything since they always expand the government when in office.

I don't think you can find a fallacy in a factual statement.

Sweeping Generalization: (dicto simpliciter) assumes that what is true of the whole will also be true of the part, or that what is true in most instances will be true in all instances.

Also similar to Composition.

Although, it could be Contrary to Fact, since you did use "if". ;)

Yes but we are talking about presidents, not all democrats every where, although I personally believe that to be true as well since I've never met one that didn't want more federal programs.

The Assumptions: Democrats tax and Spend....Republicans, give money to the wealthy* and cut unnecessary spending.

* The thought of giving funding to the wealthy is that they will spurn the economy to move and therefore distributing the wealth through employment and production at the street level, thereby keeping the economy thriving and not needing all those unnecessary programs that the Democrats propose.

Naturally that is the way they have historically operated. Who knows, maybe a Democrat will come along and realize that it is better at the Federal level to help the big businesses who will in turn employ the downtrodden by creating jobs? It's worth a shot? right?

never going to happen.
