Hacked

So I got an email from Blizz saying my account has been frozen. When I tried logging in, my password worked but now i have an authenticator attached to my account that I didn't add. So either the battle.net account is messed up or i got hacked by a lazyass hacker who didn't take the time to change the password. What really gets me is that I haven't accessed the account in-game or online since the beginning of November. This should be fun.

i got this last year, or maybe the year before. Was pretty lame. the biggest hassle was just going through the like 50 pages o fmail blizz sends you back, and figuring out what to do with all the random shit they send you. 20 pages of greens and blues over my acct? i just wanted my epics and gold.

Sorry to hear that ranger. A know that a few people have been hacked and for the most part they get back more than what they had but still it is a major pain in the ass.

Well it looks like everything has been sorted out and returned. The hacker took most of my gold and goods on my two mains. Other than that nothing was done. Overall it wasn't as bad as I feared. FYI - I joined the tE guild on Kel server. I am Deimás DK lvl 58.
P.S. As of now I am playing on the hackers credit card. I was informed that if/when they dispute the charge I will have to pay for the time, but as of now they can't get back into the account to cancel the subscription so "fingers crossed" as long as they don't dispute through the credit card company, I will get to play for free.
