It definitely won't appeal to a lot of WoW players that seem to want an easy, less challenging game. Vanguard I think has struck a good balance between the hard core challenge that EQ1 used to be and what most of the current games offer, it was released way too soon for sure but you can bet they'll resolve the issues pretty quickly.

I imagine with SOE helping out Sigel and lending them a helping hand in places such as networking, the game will iron out after a while with the lag and such.
