Against my better judgment I watched the new trailer for WoW BC the other night, and now I am currently fighting the urge to resub with every fiber of my being. The trailer looked pretty good and I read some of the updated content for it and relatively satisfied that it is going to be good. I do wish I could transfer my hunter back onto a PvP server though, what is the problem going from PvE to PvP servers anyway. I am not sure how much longer I can hold out and am beginning to show signs of withdrawal (I haven't played since Oct 7). It's funny that as soon as you feel that you are in the clear and can walk away from it forever it bites you right on the ass.

Be strong Rangerr. I have been WoW free for over a year and happy for it.

As for the PVE to PVP. I guess they figure people will gear up on a pve server and then kick ass with all of their elite gear.

WoW-free for a month and no looking back. :D

It'll be fun for the first month or so experiencing stuff you've never seen, but it will go back to being just like it is now when you hit the roof again.

What exactly draws you guys back to the game? Is it an urge to kill people or PvE or what? I quit a little over a month ago and have had 0 urge to resub. :?

After I quit in early Oct. I literally hated the game for 3 months. Then all of a sudden I watch the trailer for BC and it hits me that I kinda want to play again. Though I'm not sure why, I've been burnt out on end game and on PvP (though I haven't played the new arena system). I don't know what it is. Of course that is kinda normal for me, I have cycled through WoW, PS, and various other games for years. I usually play for 2-3 months, get bored, play something else for 2-3 months, and eventually cycle back. Right now WoW is next up on the list, and eventually (not anytime soon though) PS will probably pop back up again too.

Be sure to read the patch notes for all the classes so you don't get too excited. I know Hunters had their feign-death-trap ability nerfed.

I watched the trailer, but it really didn't have an effect on me. I dunno; it's just like Planetside was. I got to the point where I played it so much and it burdened me in real life so much that I absolutely hated it the point I'll never play it again.

Though, I'll probably play the need MMORPG with you guys or some other people when I get out of college. :P

We'll be around in four years, right?! :D

Well, I'm sure most of you are aware of my position on this game. I'm in so deep, I can't see the light of day any longer. Recently I received an invitation to that thing regarding BC that I can't really talk much about. It is good. So far I've seen, the new )*&*&%(*^% section and the new )*&*)&%* section and they are nice the new quests are ok. more of the kill 10 or 20 of these and come back and get a reward. One quest involves several totems and is actually quite fascinating. The new Post 60 stuff is fantastic. I cried the other day when I sold my Robe of the void becuase a blue quest reward item was actually much better and took little effort to acquire. The grind up from 60 is a long tedious one, but what I'm looking forward to, is soloing Baron Rivendare and mopping the floor with him or doing an MC 10 or 20 man. LOL

I was doing AV and AB with my guild mates on Thrall "Spirits Within" and it is fun. The Horde generally tend to be much more organized but when 5 or 10 of my guildies go into AB we own the place quite nicely. I never got into PvP battleground before but it has grabbed my attention. Acquiring Marks and Honor so that you can purchase some armor or weapon is nice. My Warrior uses the Ice Barbed Spear now.

Alliance on Eitrigg mop up the Horde in AV... It's quite refreshing considering we lose everything else.
