I expected this actually sooner. They are selling pre-orders without any information given on the game and are giving away 'armbands' to preorders.

I know no one was trustworthy of the game, but don't pre-order it without at least a beta to try it out.

Dug around on their forums a bit. They are constantly trying to fight off "conspiracy theories" about the game, or at least StateofShock is. To me, he seems like a real asshat for being a MMO community manager or whatever you might call him. He responds to people sometimes in such negative tones that it really is hard to believe he represents their staff.

30 second clip of a base. I loled hard. All these Planetside people think the game won't run on their computers and you have awesome looking chat box, no character arm movement while running, and the base is dark as fuck.

Have fun with that game. Until they decide they can actually take pictures of their game to show to the public, they're done before they start.

Honestly with those piss poor character models that anyone could have thrown together in a couple of hours and the fact that this 'game' is so shrouded in mystery, I believe this to be a fake. Hopefully I'm wrong but I hope no one falls for this...

Seriously though, I don't think that game looks promising at all, I kept waiting to hear Duke Nukem say "Hail to the king baby" while we got a taste of those. . .awesome. . .graphics.

***EDIT*** So I used spell check on the above post. . .and I gotta know. . .is that really how you spell "awesome" if so. . .I think that's the first time I have typed it right in 18 years. (Sorry to de-rail thread, but I must know.)
