Something new

I am a little burnt out on BF2 and looking to pickup another game. I am considering either FEAR or City of Villains. The single player of FEAR looks good but I don’t want a game I play once as I have never replayed a scripted game. Has anyone tried out multiplayer action in FEAR? I played the beta of City of Villains it was good for occasional play. I wanted to avoid playing another addicting grind game like WoW and found that CoV was interesting for occasional play.

I got bored with city of heros in about a week I imagine CoV would be the same just as a bored bad guy instead.

It took me 2 days to get bored of CoH. . .glad I was on a friends account and didnt waste money on my own. I agree w/ Rho about CoV, as for FEAR I have never actually gotten jumpy in a game, until I played it lol. What I liked about it was that the AI for each level actually changes. Example. . .You walk in a room and something jumps over the table, lets say you die and come back to the room. . .this time it comes from behind the Bookshelf and knocks the shelf on you, it always changes. so you can play the same level over and over and get different results. However if you dont have the good system it blizows.

Anywsy, i'm still not a big RGP guy. FEAR looked ok to me, but i have too much going on in my life right now to get into anything.

I'm the only person who will miss place two letters due to speed and anyone will care about it.

I downloaded AA and now going through the training. Do I have to complete it all before playing live? Is the server up so that I can learn in a friendly environment? I think I will pass on CoV but FEAR may be a option even though I still want to know about its multiplayer play.

Well I picked up FEAR today at lunch. While I am going to do the single player first, I would still be interested in playing it online. If others are interested we can jump on a server together.
