It looks lilke we have a few people playing BF2142. If you are post you player name here so we can fill up peoples buddy lists. It is much better than using xfire.

I will try and keep this first post updated with the player names. I will add them exactly including punctation (like mine).

Yeah RR got me one last night, I thought I was gonna get some payback but somehow he escaped in the buggy and managed to blow himself up instead.

yeah i am still getting used to the game and controls. I do really well up on the titans, but am not very effective down on the ground. Overall I think this game is pretty good and I think this will hold my attention for awhile.

I've only played on the Verdun and Sidi Power Plant maps. On those the terrain is mostly open with some built up areas. The best way to succeed on those maps is by being in the vehicles and then traveling with more than 2 vehicles together. Even being in one transport helo with no ground vhicles is a risk on those maps. Take advantage of the long shots and be prepared to bail out. If your vehicle is near death, you should have gotten out like yesterday. When fighting around any of the missle silos/flags, being dismounted is fine. Also on the Sidi Power Plant map, dismounted is fine along the three central points and 2 bridges. When you do move dismounted it is best to move with 3 or more people togehter and try to spread out. do not remain all bunched up or in a single file.

the best combo for support is Ganz, the heartbeat moniter and the IPS for titan battles
