Has anyone played this yet?

My buddy wyatt brought this over friday night. We just ignored the other 5 or 6 ppl who came over, once we "tried it out.' by which i mean that we played it till like 2am. this game is amazing, and lives up to all the hype which i cant remember any game doing for the longest time.

The co-op campaign is so so so good. It splits you up and you interact and help each other, there is one segment we made it to where it turns to night and if you step into darkness these remorseless winged bastards end you... i cant even tell you how stressed out we were at one point.

The dynamic where you can run into, crouch hide, spray aroun dany corner or object is just crazy. WE didnt get a chance to try it out online but i would imagine this is where shooters are going to go at some point.

When I am on break and I have access to my 360 I will be picking this game up.

The ghost recon game, because its crappy but people dont know any better. I hope Gears kills this game.

Um. Fight Night 3. best looking sports game, ever.

um. i cant actually think of 2 more games worth owning. =]

small tip, if i might? Dead Rising gets really boring really fast. my friend ended up trading it in. But for like a week its absurdly addicting.

i loved chromehounds. that game was a lot of fun online, but make sure you have a friend to play with

Gears of War is insane. Definately one of the best (if not THE best) FPS to come out on the Xbox this year. Hell...I'd wager it to be a contender for best game in many magazines.

It's insane. Everything in it is amazing. The dark parts are frustrating as hell, though, as Damaen said. There's nothing more satisfying than being pinned down, flanking the AI, and chain-sawing them right as they turn around at you.

My friend and I played Co-Op the first time he popped it in and it's been a sort weekend, need-less-to-say.

I was planning on renting Dead Rising before I bought it. Also, since I figured it would get repetitive, I planned on waiting for price to go down.

Tack, i was playin glast night around like 2 am, and i was fighting another beserker indoors. ok, cant kill it. well i thought i had escaped it when BOOM it came thru a wall and owned me. I stopped, looked at my gf and was like "that was the coolest thing, ever. smart."

then i turned off the system and passed out.
