I found this mod and played a round. For those who are looking for something closer to a real battle should check it out. I was in a great squad and had a blast. It is kinda like RO but with modern weapons and more polish. You will need to patch to the latest BF2 release and install the latest version of the patch.

I installed this today, haven't played it yet but from the .pdf it seems very cool with much more tactical play elements.

My little gaming last night was fun. I can say that it was a lot less about kill totals and more about trying to get objectives. You don't get kill messages so you don't even know if you had the kill unless you keep checking the scoreboard. I should have time to play a little tonight and will jump on vent when I do.

gunther if you have BF2 still loaded this mod screams it is something you will like. The install is pretty easy.

The game is not installed, but is close to my right hand. The wife is home this evening, so I won't install tonight. I will look at it tomorrow.

the mod is over a gig so you may want to DL it over night.

Oh yeah read the manual (I attached it to the first post) before you try and play. It will make things a lot easier to understand.

Ok, Road and Rhonnin, I saved the file to flashdrive and am downloading the mod right now. Looks like it will take a few hours. It is 1.86 Gb.
