Urban Dead, the gathering

Postby rhonnin » Fri Jul 20, 2007 5:14 pm

Ok, currently we have a bunch of us hunkered down in the auto repair place, USD is wandering around in search of Hahrmburgahr, Dread priate zombie hunter Marcie is enroute so who does that leave us waiting for?I suggest that once we gather we scout a new suburb to base in, one with some more resource options like a mall and such.

I found the list of revive points on the Wiki site. I must have gotten coincidentally lucky when I was revived at Rayner Crescent. The two sites for revives are listed below, but if you do not Request a revive on BartlesonJames' website, you may not get a revive. Here are the revive sites in Lukinswood:

Lacey Walk (23, 42)
Group: The Order of Longinus
Special Instructions: Request on Forum
NecroLab Tech: BartlesonJames

Also:

Rayner Crescent (28, 44)
Group: The Order of Longinus
Special Instructions: Request on Forum
NecroLab Tech: BartlesonJames

A link to the list of sites is: here.
A link to the Order of Longinus Forums is here.

On a side note, there are nine of us at the garage. only ones missing are Road, Lavishnu, HAC and USD. I have about 13 AP at the moment. It will be difficult to coordinate a raid together as a group. We have too many people low on AP. I'm sure monkey is maxed. I have not yet seen him move at all.

I'll look for a place in the morning. We'll need to gather ammo and the like on our way to where ever we go. We can make it in small groups. Less detectable that way.

Found a place, its safe for now and nearby and has a really good history of holding out. Caigar Mall in Chudleyton/Durvell Heights. It was the first place to hold out and win a siege against zombies and did it twice. The biggest sieges in the game to date. Course, the third siege ended in the survivors dying, but the zombie group that led that siege did it with all 100 of their members online at once and are no longer in the game.

It has a good mix of resource buildings too, from looking at the wiki page though it seems to be under attack by an organized horde.
There are also some well organized survivor groups operating there too.
I would say to try and set up base somewhere central in darvall heights so we have easy access to all the various resource points without burning a ton of AP.

Gunther wrote:I made a run for Caiger mall, like beta suggested. When I got there, I found it too heavily barricaded to get in. Since I was low on AP, I searched for a place to hide. Every building in the area was too heavily barricaded to get in. I found Yeandill Towers(23,2 , Darvall Heights with one person inside.

Solstice 'Shack is in his own words a dashing, debonaire, and sophisticated man who runs in tweed jackets and sharply pressed slacks. Oh and has about 15 guns on him at any one time. Solstice is a Lv42 Civilian and has many many skills.

On the wall of Yeandil Towers is written, "IndoorRevive ;NoCade ;NoNap; NoKillerGiraffe/Teont". I assume this is a revive point that Solstice has set up. He is capable. Maybe we gather here before attempting to get into the mall? I am down to 6AP.

If you're looking for a rez here is your man. I will note that while I was running around, I found a place with no less than 27 zombies West of Caiger Mall.

At my location it says,"There is a powered-down radio transmitter here."
