Oh my.
Eve was already a great looking game, especially considering it's age, updated graphics must look amazing. I really enjoyed that game so I hope this doesn't hurt them too bad.
Drox, yes, nearly everything is player "crafted" in Eve. It has the most complex economic system I have encountered in any MMO. iI is also a very PvPp-centric game, it surprises me more enforcers dont play.
If you decide to play, look me up, name is Henray of course.
I never played Eve, but Henray's description reminded me a lot of Dark Age of Camelot. DAoC didn't have an attractive end game, but the crafting portion was top notch.

The pvp is really well done too with large multi corp battles being spectacular.
Pvp is consensual in that there are various levels of security space, going into a lower security zone is pretty much every man for himself and in higher security zones it's not uncommon for someone to try and bait you into tagging yourself for pvp.
Several times I would come across a container floating in space but if you loot one that belongs to another player it tagged you to be hunted by them so PKers would set one out floating as bait and when you loot it they swoop in from out of no where to gank you. Space is not a safe place after all.
I've been playing for almost a year now and I love the game. It's a steep learning curve though. If anyone ever want to play some get the free 14 day trial and hit me up, my toon's name is Floobus. I'm usually fighting out in the nasty regions of space (called 0.0 in Eve).
PvP is what makes this game for me. I tend to fly ewar ships. It's hard to kill someone when your sensors can't lock on to him
1) So if I'm not looking for a fighting game (Like every other MMO out there) I can simply be a mining/buisness tycoon and work the economy.
2) I've heard it's not really possible to get to the larger levels of the game and have fun for a couple months, and even a year or so for the really big stuff, is this true? Cause I simply don't have time for a game of that magnitude.
