Ja, thats what I meant. The automatic updating of the curse client can be problematic.

Well, I took your advice and deleted the curse client which has the automatic updater. I have had no attacks, but if you guys have had experience like this I don't need to take the risk.

I had tried using the curse client too, it corrupted my install and I had to completely reinstall wow to get it working again.

I haven't heard much positive about the client other than you don't have to DL the mods yourself. Honestly, I don't find it that big of a deal but maybe I haven't put max points into the laziness talents. 8)

And thats the first time I've heard of the client corrupting the whole WoW program. :eek:

I was a bit miffed to put it lightly, I logged out to update a mod, installed the client instead, tried to log back in and got errors.
