MOH beta

Postby rhonnin » Sun Jul 18, 2010 12:45 pm

Anyone else playing it at all? I've only spent about 20 minutes with it so far but seems really fun, also runs considerably more smoothly on my machine than BFBC2. I don't think it's competition for BFBC2 but if you're a fan of MOH it's worth checking out.

if you own BC2 on steam the beta is available.

played it last night. i guess i need destructable terrain? i hope the game has more than 3 classes at launch for those who buy it.

the complete lack of gun recoil ruins the game. playing BC2 lets me go like 22-4 in MoH.

its a good arcade shooter i guess.
Hard pressed on my right. My center is yielding. Impossible to maneuver. Situation excellent, I am attacking!

There's only 3 classes in BFBC2 as well, destructible terrain in both also. Hopefully they'll add things like recoil and collapsing buildings, it is still a beta after all.

It can't possibly be releasing too soon, it still has a lot of issues, clipping, net code, hit detection. At least I hope not.
Hopefully I'll be ordering a new machine shortly so I can get back into the BFBC2 action again. I love that game and just can't bring myself to lower the visuals enough to stop my occasional hangs.
