first the simple question do you have these minimum requirements? Mostly the video stuff.

Demo System Requirements

Windows XP (32-bit) with Admin rights
1.7 GHz Pentium 4 / Athlon XP or greater
512 MB or more
460MB of HD Space
DirectX 9.0c compatible (*video)
DirectX 9.0c compatible (sound)
*Video
Video card must have 128 MB or more memory and one of the following chipsets:
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 or greater
ATI Radeon 8500 or greater
Multiplayer
Multiplayer requires 1 set of discs per PC and a broadband (Cable, DSL, or a faster) connection. Internet or Network (2-64 players)

If yes it may be time to upgrade your video card drivers.
So If I get a new Video card think that might also help alot?

Sounds good coop. I really like BF2 even with all of its bugs which its has a bunch.

The biggest issue I see is that its very hard to find your friends online and then to join their games. What makes it worse is that programs like xfire and ASE cannot launch you directly into the game. I'm disappointed that EA has not provided the ability for these third party programs to launch into a specific game. Hopefully these patch this soon as from what I can see everyone is bitching about the game browser.

The only workaround is for everyone to run xfire. One person connects to a game, then others get the IP from xfire and directly connect. Remember to check the port number they do change. The hardest part is if we all want to get onto a ranked server because these are almost always full. I guess some will just have to wait for a spot to open.

Another workaround is ASE (all seeing eye) which should be able to find your friends playing by name if they are playing. I tried to use this with a couple ppl's name and it did not find them. Will have to test this more. The benefit is that it will find ppl even if they are not running ASE or xfire.
