I found the BT mod is pretty nice for improving the interface a bit.

I was trying to find this when I bought Oblivion. Thanks! :D

There is another mod that Panzerfaust (Valar) found that lowers the cost of recharging enchanted items. Instead of costing 1gp/1 point of charge, it only costs 20% of how much is missing.

I have to agree that it is more a hack than mod but recharging the Blade of Woe is painful. It is insanely powerful but when it cost over 29,000 gold to recharge I will only use it for particularly nasty situations. I have the rechargeable Grand Soul stone (from one of the shrine quests) but it takes 19 recharges to do the equivalent.

BTW do the shrine quests if you have not as some of the rewards are really good.

The skeleton key feels like cheating but my favorite is the combination of goldbrand and the reusable grand soul gem. The goldbrand slices through mobs and its enchantment is always charged.

What shrine quest? I've been focusing on all the Oblivion Gates.
