No smelly socks or jocks here just some good ranting about your favorite team.

Yes but your forgetting a few things.

1) Brady was not as old as bledsoe, Huard and Green are both +33, which is pretty much near the end of most NFL players careers. Brady was 24 years old, and was worth the investment.
2) Brady was not at the end of his contract, Huard is.
3) Bledsoe had NEVER delivered the type of numbers Green consistantly gave the Chiefs over the last few years.

I'm not saying it can't and shouldn't happen. But in the last game of the season, under a first year coach for your team, you dont wanna trash one of your highest paid and (in the past) most reliable assets for a no name who had a few outstanding games.

Trent Green has been excellent for the past few years. From '02-'05 he put up ratings of 92.6 twice, 95.2, and 90.1. His career rating is 87.5. Green threw for 3690, 4039, 4591, and 4014 yards respectively. His TD/int ratio was good too, throwing 26/13, 24/12, 27/17, and 17/10. He threw for over 60% in all 4 seasons. Besides this year's 1878 yard, 11 TD (only 1 INT), 98 rating performance, Huard has not been a very good QB. He started only half the season, though, and I think defenses would eventually start to expose his weaknesses (like they did with Tony Romo) had he continued to start.

That said, KC should not have rushed Green back. He did not seem very healthy when he played this season. Huard was decent enough to play well for another game or two.

I give credit to both of these guys because KC's receiving corps. is bad. Even Gonzalez wasn't himself this year.

If Anything the Eagles QBs are a little more like the Pats a few years ago, look what the eagles have done this year, compared to the Pats a few years ago there almost the same....

Another poor example.

Jeff Garcia is a seasoned veteran that was a victim of a poor Sanfran organization and a virus named TO. He has always been an average questerback, which when you have a runner like Westbrook, that's all you need. He knows his stuff, and knows football. . .and consequently the NFL knows him.

Garcia is not a young name no one has heard of like Brady was, and will NEVER take the starting spot from D.Mcnabb. . .ever ever ever. The only reason he is playing is because Mcnabb simply cannot. Mcnabb is over rated, but still one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL. You will never see a declining quarterback replace one of the best the Eagles have ever had.

Garcia is playing well because he spent years in the westcoast offense and the way Reed runs it is very similar to what Garcia did in SF.
And with a back playing the way Westbrook has been it makes his job much easier.

BTW It's f'n crazy that Westbrook didn't get a probowl nod.

Westbrook should have made the pro bowl... Romo should not have after a few good games.

The biggest smack in the face for the pro-bowl was Merriman in my opinion.. Guy comes up hot for steriods and then 4 game suspention and gets in the Pro-bowl...WTF... Nice mesage to the yougsters NFL.

The thing that really pissed me off is that they were considering giving him the Defensive player of the year award after the suspension.
