I was dissapointed in it too. However it was a type of Viking Glorification movie, and if you know anything about viking mythology then it makes the movie easier to watch. Also it dosen't do Norse mythology justice at all.

i saw it in 3D at an IMAX theater. it was 2 dollars more but it was pretty fucked up when you think spears and people's limbs are going to hit you.
that being said: movie was sketchy as fuck and 2 cocksuckers behind me talked shit for like 30 minutes and i started swearing and yelling amid a full theater of quiet, 'im not saying anything' morons.
