A work order to remeber

Postby redwarrior666 » Wed May 14, 2008 10:17 am

I got this work order that came across my desk. It goes like this:

I know this is going to sound very strange, but....

There is a roach stuck inside of my laptop. I need someone to come open it up so that it can get out. And no, I don't just mean open up the lid. I mean actually unswcrew something so it can get out. I'm not using it or plugging it in until it's out. I don't want to "fry" the bug in it.

Sure enough the roaches antenna were sticking out underneath the ethernet ports and wiggling. After an hour of taking apart and putting back together that laptop the roach is free.(then got squished) I wish I had pictures but my treo pics didn't come out well enough to see the little guy.

Microsoft would call that roach a feature, not a bug!

I have no idea how it got in the laptop. The teacher says he dosen't know either. I suspect it was a pet of some kid in his class. The roach did not look like any of the local roaches I have seen.
