SOE: major down time Monday Sept. 24th

From the official forums:
All SOE games, websites, message boards, Knowledge Base, Station store, and other services will be unavailable Beginning at 11:30 p.m. PDT on Monday, September 24th, currently we expect this maintenance to take approximately 14 hours but could extend to as long as 24. All SOE services will be undergoing upgrades to the authentication system and as a result, all logins for SOE services will be unavailable. Technical and Account support will only be available by phone during this time. |

tE demo nights are starting again. This is your chance to play again with your fellow tE or meet new members.
Demo night will occur every Sunday at 9:00 PM EST.
The game will be announced the week before and we will meet on vent to coordinate servers and such.

Are not actually spyware according to this Q&A with the IGA's CEO (The company that is doing the ads), "The time that each ad impression takes place is also recorded by IGA, alongside what type of ad content it was (billboard, megaboard, or video stream), the duration (how long was the ad seen for), the size of the ad relative to the player, and the angle of deflection (what angle the ad is viewed at)"
.
What does this mean? There is no spyware!

Bf2::tE and Bf2142

Last evening five of the Enforcers squaded up in Battlefield 2142 and dominated on a demo server. Using teamwork and skill we were able to destroy more of them than they could kill of us. In one of the conquest games, where both sides start out at 200 tickets. They got us to 185 when we got them to 0.
Hopefully EA will see the light about spyware in their software and we won't have to tolerate the Kamikaze helo pilots who do not know how to fly. |
