Who is ready for some football?

No smelly socks or jocks here just some good ranting about your favorite team.

Priest Homes has still got it, comming into the game I was beggining to doubt him, but he showed me he still got game. I am still praying for forgiveness. As far as Chiefs go that was a great game, came down to the last second though to Santana Moss in the End Zone for a Touchdown that would have tied it, it was litteraly in the mans hands when Sammy Knight (Chiefs FS) Reached in a popped it out. Definetly a sight for soar Chief Fans eyes. . . deffense. Sure they still have their flaws, but who doesnt 5 games into the season? Oh and BTW....

Mac, LoL looks like no more doggin' on your choices of Football teams. . .The Bangles are the shock of the league. (Pretenders for sure not contenders.) But still a shock either way :D

And Notre Dame. . . *CRY* I have never watched a single full College Football game until this Notre Dame season cause I wanted to see how Wiese would do. (Plus I love him for screwing the Pats) They played GREAT, and if it haden't been for that fluke of a play that put USC by the goaline, they would have won. And then to have that play at the end of the game called back. But hey! they have still only lost 2 games!!!!Which is a HUGE turn around for them. Go Irish.

I didn't get to watch the USC vs Notre Dame game. But from what i saw of it, that was probably the best collage game of the year.

I want to talk Jacksonville. This is the second big victory in a row for these guys. Now, i know the Steelers weren't at 100%, but neither was Jacksonville. And to go into Steeler country and win, thats big. The Jags have a good shot of making the playoffs this year.

LT
Enough said. This is the best running back in the league and maybe even the best player.

Pats lose in Denver. Their defense can't stop anyone. But, Teddy Bruschi is reported to be coming back. I wish him the best, but the guy had a stroke. I know they said "Minor stroke", but a stroke is a stroke. He hasn't been on a football field in what? 8 months? I know he wants to play, i know he wants to help, but i honestly think he should sit the rest of this year off for his own good.

Oh, and the Colts are still undefeated.

Jacksonville. . . Jacksonville?! No, anyone can win 2 games in a row. . .ANYONE. Don't count chickens before they hatch. Don't get me wrong, they are a good team, but don't make predictions off of small stats.

LT = Best RB in the league curently. . .Not the best player. There is no such thing in football as "The best player" in Basketball you can safely say Michel Jordan. . .but football doesnt work that way. What is LT with a bunch of 6th grade lineman? Football is a sport where 1 guy doesnt make a team.

Pats = The Suck. . .I called it, you called it. . .we all called it. I can't wait till brady is watching the Super bowl from his couch with a box of tissues. . .him and gunther both

As far as the Colts go, no doubt the BEST 'TEAM' in the league this year. Biggest contenders for the Super bowl, and a much deserved one at that. It's the only thing P. Manning needs to secure a spot in the Top 3 QBs ever. (I don't qualify a SB as success, but everyone else does. . .It's those morons who dis on guys like Dan Marino ect.) Can they be stopped? Keep in mind. . .every team can always have a bad game, even to the unlikelyest. . .Also every team is only 1 injury away from failure. Dont get me wrong there are always cinderella players that can emerge. . .but fairy tales only happen so often. P.Man goes down. . .Colts go down. Same for any other contending team.

Key players that can change a teams outcome

LT
Mcnabb
Vick
Green
Manning
ect.

This however does not change my statement of one guy can't make a team. . . he just cant. . .but he can be the role player.

I was only pointing out who the Jags beat. Beating the Bengals, then beating the Steelers isn't small news.

I know there is no such thing as the best player in the league, but LT is on his way to being MVP if you ask me. He's got 13 total TDs in 6 games. Third in the league in rushing. Right now he's my vote for MVP.

The Colts are acting different this year. They are not allowing themselves to think ahead at all. And aren't taking anyone lightly. You should read what they are saying about the Texans (0-5) that their playing next week. A reporter tried to ask a question about NE, and the player said "I only care about the Texans right now. I don't care about the Patriots."
Their doing whatever it takes to win the game. If that means running the ball more, then that means running it. If it means throw. Then throw. If it means get the ball back on D, then they'll get it back.
Dungy is a great coach, and it has taken the young guys on the team a few years to fully learn his system.

To add a few names to that list Drox.
Sadly, i have to add Randy Moss and T.O. I don't like it, but it's true.
Shuan Alexander too. That is the second best RB in the league right now, and that 's only becuase LT is so crazy good.

Yeah forgot those names and I agree w the last statement all those guys, and there are way more of coarse.

As far as the revolutionary statement the Colts made. . . its only the same statement every coach in every sport on every week has ever said ROFL, so it doesnt impress me to much.

LT = MVP (Unless inurjured)

I said players said that. I didn't say coaches Drox. ;)
Before that was the attitude with the players. Now it aint. That simple.

And it will br kind of nice to see a RB win an MVP. It's been QBs the last few years.
