whichever race the majority decides to go for, that is the race we will use as a group at release. I would at some time like to have characters in all races eventually. Neither one trips my ticket at this time.

I've been reading up on Huxley. I hope they can live up to what they are saying. If we can get at least a dozen or so to come play, we could have a blast here.

I stand corrected, initially there are only two races--sapiens and Alternatives. The Hybrids are the monsters you kill in the PvE instances.

the sapiens are further divided into two distinct sub-races--"One" and "Syn". The One are people like us today. This race will advance faster in equipment useage. Driving and Piloting skills will be better. The Syn are a more svelt appearing agile cousin to the One. This race is more suited for covert operations. I'll assume like a Cloaker or a Rogue in Shadow form.

The Alternatives are divided into two sub-races--Altereavers and Alternix. The Altereavers are large humanoids who specialize in heavy weapons. They share traits like the Klingons in Star Trek. The Alternix have grey skin, unnaturally sensitive and good at infiltration and assassination.

The Hybrids have four sub-species--Epsilon, Gamma, Beta and Alpha. Alphas are almost human in appearance. The Epsilons are the Zerglings of the game. There is also the HLO or Hybrid Liberation Organization. IGN isn't sure what they're role will be yet.
