Metal Gear Solid

Does anyone else play this game series?

Here's my opinions on the games:

Metal Gear Solid 1: Excellent game, I still dust it off and have fun. Beautifully executed game. A classic.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Son's of Liberty: Pretty good, although the game lacked substance.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Substinance: All the extras we're excellent and I liked the added item's/weapons and little jokes hidden in the game. Too bad the game was almost ruined by Raiden. I hate him....the game should have focused MUCH more on Snake.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater: Did not play, waited for the expansion.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Substinance: I'm currently playing this game and loving it. I like the plot, it's not too over your head if you're not a total expert on the breakdown on the Military/Politics/Weapons Designs. Although I do miss the Virtual Reality trainer. After almost two years with out playing an MGS game, I needed brushing up.

Doubt it, thats the problem with Consoles they kill gaming, in 2 years Xbox 360 and PS3 will be obsolete once again when computers like break 5 Ghz

Well, the first MGS came out for PC. But I heard the control scheme was a nightmare. I dunno, the way you select items and weapons using R2/L2, just feels natural for the PS1/PS2/PS3 controller.

Keyboards are better then a controller

rather have some layout then a stupid Controller (makes weird stabbing motion at her Xbox Controller)

If you've ever played the console version, the controller feels much more comfortable and natural.

I have played all of them on a game system, not PC.
