I look at the blunt verses blade is more of a concept thing than anything else. Taking in account weight, swing speed, and damage there is not a huge difference between the two. If i created a orc I would most likely carry around a axe just seems right compared to a blade.

My main uses blade because it swings a bit faster even though for less damage.

My alt uses Blunt, which I love so much more because it's so cool to crack someone in the side of the face and watch them crumple. Plus I'm a fan of heavier weapons anyways.

I am going to take a break from Oblivion. I finished all the guild quest lines, arena, shrine quests, and now the main quest. I hit most of the misc quests along the way so not much to do than kill stuff and finish off leveling my char and fill in any quests I might have missed.

Modesty aside I have to say my character is pretty buff. Aside from personality and luck all my stats are maxed at 100. At the default difficulty level I can take on as many mobs as sent at me. Moving the difficulty slider seems to give the mobs more hit points but they don’t seem to do anymore damage.

I am going to play some PS now as I miss playing with the group. Oblivion is well worth its price and it is a really well done game but I can only take so much of single player games.

I'll try a cure disease potion... I've finished both theives' and assassin's guilds so my heart is black as midnight good sirs. I had some fun last night trying out my assassin party member - it's pretty funny to have your cloaked follower suddenly initiate conversation with the guy you're sneaking up on to pickpocket.

That is exactly what I thought. And what's with glass weapons?

They look awesome, that's what!

I can't say the same about my glass armor which apparently is the best light armor. I will say though that the ebony and daedric weapons might look pretty mean but nowhere as cool as the glass weapons.
