I sure hope these Big Fucking Robots (BFRs) are easier to acquire and not running rampant on the battlefield--meaning everyone wants to run one.

what an oxymoron? if they are easy to acquire then everyone will want one.

all you guys do is bitch bitch bitch, if you ever even bothered to watch the videos you would of noticed a tank going up against one of these things and winning.

I think bad experiences from PS have colored peoples perceptions, I figured they would be balanced more like a mechwarrior type game.

Rhonnin is correct, while I have watched the videos and seen that footage, the IDEA of these massive robots scares us because of the BFR's in PS. We weren't complaining as much as just saying that I hope these things don't take a perfectly good game and turn it into something that we despise (and yet still can't break free of it's iron will). Because we have seen that before, and our experience with big fucking robots has been bad so naturally we have a certain distaste for them. It may be that those in BF will we great and I love them, but only time will tell.

Personally, I think these BFR's, as you guys call them, are going to be mostly strong AA weaponry and possibly good anti-infantry also. The main weaponry they have is rockets for the second gunner and a heavy gattling gun for the pilot.
