BF2142 server prices - ouch

The provider I used for BF2 has just started accepting preorders for BF2142 servers.

For a 28 person server (which I believe is what we had) is $168 a month. Damn either this thing eats a ton of bandwidth/CPU or EA has increased "their" share.

We started out with a 16 person server.

Yep we did. But I think it was either 26 or 28 at the end. The sixteen server is $96 a month and we were paying $64 a month for BF2.

What are the chances that the cost of a server will drop after the game comes out? Or some other company offers servers at lower prices?
