Hmm, releasing Nov. 19 for $250. I am thinking about getting this system in lieu of a PS3. I haven't played a Zelda game since Ocarnia of Time and that was a long time ago so hooking up with Link would be cool. Also the controller has piqued my interest. Plus hey it's only 250 bucks.

I'm not allowed to have another console system. But I was thinking about asking for the new Nintendo for Christmas. Since the new computer was for my birthday and all. But there is NO way in hell I would buy a Playstation 3, unless it came with an option for oral sex.

PS3 is ridiculous. The only reason I will buy one, is if it looks like Blu-Ray will win the format war for DVDs (but honestly I think current DVD format is peachy for movies)

600$ for a PS3 is ridiculous, oh boy, better DVD. All that shit taken off, you'd be fine at 250-300$. This exactly why I'm getting the 360. 300$, not 600$. I don't watch movies that much anyways, plus if you wanted a machine to watch DVDs, why not buy a DVD player? Honestly, all this extra crap is bull. 95% of the people I know bought their system for games, more powerful graphics, processesing, etc.

People like an all in one solution, rather than have a tower of separate components to play movies, music, games, etc... a single gadget to cover it all would be the way to go. My understanding is that with the 360 you can pretty much run all of that plus network it to your PC.

360 is basically a home entertainment centerpiece, it can do most everything you would need it to do, plus it would make the cheapest HD-DVD player you can buy.

True, it may not be that fancy, expensive as hell 'Blue-ray' but it's still a damn nice picture. Seen it at Wal-Mart.

I care less and less about not enjoying the new Gran Turismo - ever - everytime i chainsaw someone in gears of war online.
ps3 is like 700Canadian+. is it going to do 2x what my 360 does? i read a quote, i think by the actvision guy or another game company, and he laughed and said sony shot themselves in the foot. I wont even split the cost of it with one of my roomates. Gonna let the GF buy a Wii lol

As for the Wii, this is the only game console that has peaked my dads interest. Lol, I think he wants to buy one.
